This UP Farmer Loan Waiver Scheme 2025 was launched on 9th July 2017 by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Under this initiative, the state government is waiving loans of farmers who have taken up to ₹1 lakh for agricultural purposes from banks.

Farmers who own cultivable land in Uttar Pradesh and have taken agricultural loans before or on 25th March 2016 are eligible for this scheme.
